FINALLY after months of in-depth planning - it's time for the next meet! And this one marks a MASSIVE step up - both for us hosting, and for the enjoyment of everyone who attends.
Since our previous meets were getting way too big, something BIG had to happen to ensure we could continue sustainably into the future.
Luckily, the incredible bunch of petrolheads at Repco got in touch with us to help us find a way to keep having big events - essentially saying, "you guys run the event how you'd like, and we'll support you with what you need to make it happen".
Which is insane as you can imagine. So they're backing us to do this collaboration event, giving us massive freedom, and in turn basically giving Auckland car meets a new lease on life. Hats off to Repco, well and truly.
At the same time as this though, we got put onto another incredible bunch - Auckland Stadiums. Their mission is to provide world-class events and experiences to those who live in and visit Auckland city.
Auckland Stadiums have partnered with us as well, and are helping us step up our game majorly - with professional security, parking ushers, food, restrooms and an absolutely incredible venue. Big thanks to Debs for connecting us, and everybody at Auckland Stadiums for their hard work!
So yeah, we're really pulling all the stops out for this first ever Mt Smart event - it's one that you definitely won't want to miss.

It's been a year since all of us got together, donating $10 at a time, to raise over $5,000 for I Am Hope.
So this event will be a V2, plus-T version of the I Am Hope meet, and we're hoping that you guys will all get on board to do our car community proud, and beat that incredible $5,000 record of last year.

Date: Sunday, June 11th,
Location: Mt Smart Stadium carparks.
Time: 2:30pm - 5:30pm
Free Entry - bring your mates, your family, even invite strangers! Spectators encouraged, please just park outside the venue though if it's a normal car.
*** WHAT'S ON? ***
- The usual massive car meet - but with experienced parking ushers, and plenty of spaces to fill.
- Show & Shine with prizes. Every attendee is part of this - if you're here, your car could be a winner!
- Aiming to have a rev-competition happen on the day - subject to H&S approval
- Real motorbike wheelie simulator
- Racing Simulator rig setups, potentially a full motion one too - TBA
- ACE Motorsport outdoor Go-Karting races running throughout the day
- Free-for-all Mini-golf and ping pong activities near Lilyworld
- Lilyworld food and bar operating (strictly no BYO)
+ More to be announced!
- For this event, we're not going to have a cruise, because for this time, we just want to nail that first aspect of having the event. If this event goes well, there are endless possibilities for what we can try out.
Mark the date guys, and tell your mates - it's going to be the biggest meet of 2023!
IMPORTANT: (tell others about this too)
There is professional security, and live monitored CCTV throughout this venue. If you skid, damage property, or egg people on to skid, you will be banned on the spot.
There's a time and place, and that place isn't at our family friendly events. It's for the good of everyone that this is enforced - don't be selfish just for TikTok likes. Cheers hahaha
