Workshop Format:
March 31 (Zoom): A free kickoff Session to introduce concepts and outline your grazing journey. This webinar was created for folks to learn more about what this Grazing Workshop Series has to offer. This session is perfect for those who want to get a jump start on their Grazing Plan and determine if this is the right program for their farm.
April 14: An on-farm walkthrough of common assessment tools to gauge pasture conditions. We will also check in on individual grazing plans and discuss solutions for unique issues that may arise.
July 14: An on-farm fencing and infrastructure walkthrough for efficient rotational grazing. Come learn about our favorite fencing and energizer products as well as experience a field rotation with our sheep/cattle.
September 15: An on-farm deep dive into soil, plants, and ecosystem management, culminating in a reflective potluck with a discussion of how your grazing plan has worked (or not) over the past seasons. Let’s create solutions for next year, together!
