Other than a Spanish Cava rosé welcome, we’re taking a deep dive into France, whose Provençal Rosés have raised the bar and shone a spotlight on the category. We’ll sip scrumptious pink wines from the Loire (Cheverny, Reuilly, Sancerre), the Languedoc (Côtes de Thau & Corbières), the Rhône (Gigondas & Tavel), and of course Provence (Bandol, Coteaux d’Aix en Provence, Côtes de Provence), including a lauded Cru Classé. We’ll showcase an exuberant range of styles: cleansing-dry, ethereal, rich, lush & fruity, ‘serious’ red wine pretenders, and wines kissed with sweetness.
