?A classic, local Lancashire challenge, the Rossendale Way is a 45 mile route (72.5km), taking in the various hills and moorland, valleys, reservoirs and waterfalls, historic buildings extensive views, and hidden gems that Rossendale has to offer. With plenty undulation, the entire route has an elevation of approx. 4,250ft (1295m)

?We at Abigail's Trails are incredibly excited to be offering a 2 day guided event to cover this infamous long distance route, for the 3rd year running! We will provide camping⛺️ accommodation* and food at Deardenwood campsite, Edenfield, as our half way point.

Check out this fab recent review: "Walk the Rossendale Way- Sat 23 and Sun 24th September. A wonderful weekend challenge and experience. Abigail was a complete expert in this field. She was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable about details on the route. The walking group was of mixed ability and Abi allowed us to walk at our own pace safely with regular group gatherings. It was lovely to be able to meet very kind and friendly walkers with plenty of camaraderie on route. Martin (Abigail’s husband) regularly met us at checkpoints and gave us some much needed delicious refreshments and water fills. He also transported all our gear to the campsite and put out tents up prior to us arriving. This filled me with joy! At the campsite we were met with a very warm welcome ,campfire and delicious pizza before a much needed sleep. I would strongly recommend this challenge. A great walk and opportunity to meet new people." - Simon, Sept 2023
