After the huge success of our inaugural open day in 2024 we will once again be opening up our yard to the public and offering truck rides for a cost to raise funds for our 2025 Lead Truck Bid for the i98fm Illawarra Convoy. Do you or your child want to go for a ride in a truck?
We are holding an “open day” at our Port Kembla yard to give children and adults the opportunity to go for a ride around the block or a ride around our depot (not on a public road for the younger children still in a car seat) in one of our trucks for a donation!
One passenger only for those going for a ride around the block and on a public road.
All funds raised on the day will go towards our lead truck bid for the i98FM Illawarra Convoy going ahead on Sunday 16th November 2025.
We will also be having lots of display trucks to climb in and out of for a gold coin donation, take a photo with and of course blow the horn, a BBQ to purchase food and drink, a coffee and icecream van, face painters and balloon twister, manemerised to get your glitter braids, Little Big Rigs Sydney, and character meet and greets from the Illawarra Friendly Neighbourhood Spidey and friends!
Different trucks that will be available to ride in or take photos with on the day will be our Autism Awareness Truck, Disney themed truck, Bluey themed truck, superhero themed trucks, The Jettsons, pink truck, pink and grey truck and more!
We encourage the whole community to come out for the day and have a ride and/or sit in a truck whilst learning about our industry and raising funds for such an important cause!
