It's time to party like it's 1875! On Wednesday, August 27, 1875, the community gathered at Ross Park to celebrate the city's first public park. Countless volunteers worked tirelessly clearing brush, carving out trails, and building bridges to make Ross Park a place where the community could come together to connect with one another and the world around them.Join us in celebrating the 150-year history of Ross Park and the Ross Park Zoo! in honor of our 150th anniversary, admission is just $1.50 and includes a FREE hot dog! Plus, we'll have bounce houses, face painting, and a variety of local businesses will be on hand to provide information to guests, including Energy Savers CNY and Greenlight Networks. Our friends from the Corning Museum of Glass will also be on hand with flamethrown glass animals.
