Welcome to Roshni Birmingham’s 'Harmful Practices' Conference! Join us at the Village Hotel Walsall for a day of insightful discussions and learning.
The conference event aims to:
· Educate attendees about the various forms of harmful practices, their impacts on individuals and communities, and ways to identify and address them.
· Discuss strategies and interventions aimed at preventing harmful practices and supporting victims/survivors
· Explore policy frameworks, legal perspectives, and advocacy efforts needed to combat harmful practices effectively
· Empower survivors, provide resources, and foster a supportive network for those affected by harmful practices
· Facilitate collaboration among professionals, organisations, and community members working in the field to share best practices and strengthen efforts
· Evaluate the impact of current initiatives and identify areas for improvement in addressing harmful practices
