Inspired by her lifelong love of animals, Rosetta’s sculptures capture the grace, power, and spirit of wildlife, blending hard edges with fluidity in a distinctive style. She has exhibited nationally and internationally, completing numerous public and private commissions and earning multiple awards.
In the 1990s, she and her photographer husband, Mel Schockner, moved to Loveland, drawn by its renowned bronze foundries and skilled artisans. Loveland’s resources enabled her to refine her craft, and it became the place she would call home as her career soared to international heights.
Rosetta’s work strikes a careful balance between abstraction and representation, offering collectors diverse ways to appreciate her creations. Known for her unique minimalism, her art reflects a deep respect for the animals she portrays. With subtle yet powerful lines, Rosetta captures the essence of her subjects, conveying their behavior and spirit. Her artistry mirrors the strength and purpose with which she has defined her distinguished career.
