Join us on Wednesday, October 1st, at 3:30 PM, for DxE LA Rose’s Law Banner Drops for Animal Rights as part of the Rose’s Law Global Week of Action. We will hit six consecutive bridges with one banner each (6 banners total) at the same time, for all five rights of the Rose's Law: Animal Bill of Rights. (Learn more about Rose's Law here: roseslaw.org and https://www.directactioneverywhere.com/dxe-in-the-news/the-history-and-future-of-roses-law-animal-bill-of-rights.)Bridges located: I-10 Fwy, Mid-City (one of the busiest freeways in the U.S. 350,000 + cars per day)
Activists across the globe will organize impactful actions during the week to elevate the Animal Bill of Rights.
Zoe Rosenberg is facing five years in jail for rescuing four sick and injured hens from Perdue’s Petaluma Poultry Slaughterhouse so we’ll drop banners for animals’ right to be rescued from situations of distress or exploitation and the other four rights of Rose’s Law: Animal Bill of Rights.
We’ll meet up at Benny H. Potter West Adams Avenue Memorial Park, before gathering into small groups to hit each bridge. All signs and materials will be provided so please just bring comfortable shoes, a water bottle and your energy as we celebrate Rose’s Law global week of action!
