The Rosemary Weigel Frostbite 5K Walk/Run kicks off near twilight in Glen Miller Park, with luminaries and holiday cheer lighting the path. After the race, stick around for our annual Celebration of Lights, enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, and visit with Santa!
The race honors Rosemary Weigel, a beloved long-time park employee who passed away in 2012 after battling cancer. Proceeds from the race help fund our summer park programs and events. The Frostbite 5K also serves as the final race in the Wayne County Challenge's 8-race series.
The registration fee is $20.00 (all ages) prior to the race, and increases to $25.00 (all ages) on the day of the race. Register on or before Nov. 13th to guarantee receipt and size of your complimentary race t-shirt!
