About this Event
This guided meditation will offer a deep state of relaxation as we awaken the senses and connect with the beautiful plant ally Rose.
Following the meditation we will have a chance to journal and share about our experience as well as discuss the medicinal properties of this sacred plant.
This event will be held inside and will begin with a tea offering. It is recommended that you bring a yoga mat/cushion/pillow to allow you to sit comfortably, water, journal & pen, and anything that will support you in creating a super cozy space for yourself.
No prior meditation practice experience is necessary :)
ABOUT WILD HEART HERB HOUSE
Wild Heart Herb House is a small woman/non-binary + queer owned herbal apothecary and community gathering space on sovereign Wampanoag land in New Bedford, MA.
Offering bulk dried herbs, ready made herbal remedies, and herbal medicine making supplies along with other self care + witchy items. The space hosts a wide vareity of classes, workshops, gatherings, and events.
ABOUT AMELIA
Drawing from the teachings of Tantra and the Wise Woman Tradition of Healing, Amelia's classes are warm, blissful & invite in deeper connection to the body and breath.. Offering cues that allow for exploration of what feels good and nourishes each individual's body, heart, and soul in the present moment.
Amelia completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2020 with Sacred Paths Yoga. And has continued training in nutritional therapy and restorative arts, such as Yoga Nidra.
Amelia is also an apprentice and mentor through the School of the Sacred Wild with Marysia Miernowska - a journey of transformation, healing, and education in folk herbalism, earth tending, and regenerative living.
