The San Diego Rose Society will host its popular full-day seminar on rose growing in Balboa Park’s Casa del Prado Room 101, on January 19th. The seminar will cover:
• planning your rose care year,
• pest and disease management,
• soil, water and fertilizer, and
• pruning techniques and tools.
The seminar cost is $39, which will include lunch and refreshments.

This promises to be a wonderful seminar, full of valuable information for rose growers. There will be a drawing at 2:30 p.m. for two Walter Andersen Nurseries $35 gift cards which could be used toward the purchase of a new rose.
