Talented emerging artist, Rory Phillips, takes to the Toyota FanZone stage for a solo performance during TCMF.Rory is an aspiring young guitarist/singer/songwriter who is a two-time graduate and now Musician-in-Residence for the CMAA Academy of Country Music, an officially endorsed artist of Achillies Amps, Cole Clark and Buzz Box Guitars and the 2023 NSW Folk Federation Young Folk Artist of the Year. He is the youngest ever member of iconic Australian band, The Bushwackers, and joined Sara Storer’s touring band on lead guitar at just 16-years-old.
Now 18, Rory has been playing on festival stages for a decade and has already achieved more than most. Musically he sits anywhere in the realm of blues, alt-country and folk and sets will include originals, but also a mix of the classics he loves.
