This workshop will be a new skill for many, another new tutor, Sue Cheviot, will guide you throughout the day, so you can take home a finished, or almost finished Rope Bowl. (or two if you’re quick)A sewing machine will be required, it may be possible to borrow one for the day, although we only have a limited number. So if you can please bring your own, (Or borrow one from that friend who has everything crafty).
Our workshops are relaxed affairs, usually with biscuits and cake, always tea and coffee, a day amongst friends is also supplied.
WI House has ample free parking, and the room the Workshops take place in is light and airy. Take a day off and do something you want to do, it’s only a few hours after all.
You will need a packed lunch, a sewing machine, scissors, a basic sewing kit and reading glasses if you wear them.
£35.00 for WI members
£40.00 for non-members (Yes we do check)
Plus £10 approximately for materials
