WHAT TO EXPECT
We are having a 2-part evening of indulgence and learning. Come for the workshop and stay for the Jam to practice what you learned and meet other like-minded folks!
Part 1: Workshop (3:00 PM - 5:15 PM)
Join us for an immersive afternoon of connection and discovery where the art of being bound meets the thrill of sensation in this interactive and engaging workshop on rope and sensation engagement.
Through live demonstration and hands-on practice, you will learn essential rope skills and how to integrate a variety of sensory elements to enhance your engagements. Topics will include safety tips, communication, soft embodiement and s@distic techniques, basic ties and harnesses, temperature tectures, electro stim, knifepl@y, "O" control, and more! Create a deeper connection with yourself and your partner(s) by exploring new dimensions of pIeasure.
Limited supply of rope will be provided for hands-on practice. No partner required. If you have your own rope, please bring it! This space is open to all genders, sexuaIities, and experience levels. Come and experience with us!
This workshop is open to all experience levels, you will have opportunities to watch, try, feel and learn under supervision. Opt-in learning, only do things you are comfortable with.
Part 2: Practice Jam (5:30 PM - 8 PM)
Stay after the workshop to practice what you've learned and join the Jam for a relaxed, open space to connect and explore techniques with others under the guidance of the instructor. This time is meant for all to be involved on some level within comfort and personal boundaries to be respected.
This is not a hookup style event and the focus is on practice (Non-Sex Based)

BIO:
Jamie Joy (they/them) is a queer trans Jewish certified s-x educator and connoisseur of many delights. Their life and work is committed to spreading joy, consent, and pleasure through community organizing. They have been educating on a wide range of topics related to s-x and s-xuality for the past 10+ years with experience in K-12 schools, health clinics, college campuses, s-x shops, national conferences, dunge0ns, non-profits, community organizations, and more. Jamie Joy loves to stay up late, throw an unforgettable party, and teach people about the wonders of fistlng and firepIay.
