This workshop is geared toward preparing young adults with a disability for work in the agriculture sector. (must be 18+)
Please submit an inquiry through the link, you will then receive a phone call from our office to discuss the program in more detail and verify it will be a good fit.
Program information:
- 6-week course: Starting February 14, 2025, with weekly classes 9:30- 11 am.
- Classroom + Hands-On Training: Gain both theoretical and practical skills.
- Field Trips: Explore local agricultural operations and nurseries.
- Apprenticeship Opportunity: On completion, participants may have an opportunity to apprentice at a local nursery.

- Fridays beginning February 14 - March 21 from 9:30 am-11 am at the UF/ IFAS Brevard County Extension 3695 Lake Dr. Cocoa, FL 32926.
NOTE: Classes and events may be canceled at any time due to low registration or other circumstances, with full refunds issued for paid events. Similar classes or events often are offered on future dates.
