This year, we’ve taken the time to reflect. As a storytelling studio working with data to share Asia’s narratives, we’ve faced the colonial and extractive legacies tied to data and asked: where does our responsibility lie?
This year’s theme, Roots that Reach, explores how grounding ourselves in community and values allows us to grow expansively and reimagine storytelling and knowledge production against harmful colonial legacies. Inspired by Bedok’s maritime history, this dinner celebrates the role of Indigenous knowledge in shaping our ethos. We’ll share exciting updates about our new mission and vision, alongside delicious food, engaging conversations, and hands-on activities.
