In recognition of Victims and Survivors of Crime Week 2024, DIVERSEcity is hosting its one-day Roots of Safety training workshop for service providers at DIVERSEcity. The Roots of Safety Training explores a culturally safe and respectful approach to safety planning with immigrants and refugees from a trauma-informed lens. This training is a powerful tool for empowerment planning with immigrant populations including women, LGBTQ+, youth, adults and seniors. Breakfast and lunch included. www.dcrs.ca
