Join in community with others who care about living fully from the heart by exploring the path of Nonviolent Communication. No experience or background needed! Each month, we will cover a chapter of the book "Say What You Mean: A Mindful Approach to Nonviolent Communication" by Oren Jay Sofer.
Doors open at 6 pm for folks to mingle and eat some food beforehand. We envision building community connection, so feel free to arrive early to socialize and get settled! The event will begin just after 6:30 pm.
We will present the book content, so you don't need familiarity with the chapter to participate. There will be discussion and activities to deepen into the practice.
On the following dates we have a Q&A session with a local NVC practitioner, Pam Winthrop Lauer:
June 20
August 15
October 17
December 19
February 20
Otherwise, the session will include opportunities to bring questions to the group and practice offering empathy, role playing, and more!
This event depends on your generous donations for sustainability. Anything you are able and moved to give is greatly appreciated. Donations will go to supporting the livelihood of our guest and/or facilitators. Either bring cash in-person or donate via venmo to @TroyTheBaker
We look forward to seeing you then!
NOTE: this will be a hybrid event with an option to join on Zoom. Here are the details for that:
