“Making Life Wonderful” series, hosted by Roots NVCCome join in learning NVC from the creator himself, Marshall Rosenberg!
NVC isn’t only a communication method. It is a radical shift in relating to life and the world around us. Come experience this shift in consciousness by watching recordings of Rosenberg’s San Francisco workshops. While NVC these days tends to emphasize frameworks and feel like a stretch cognitively, you will find that Marshall’s approach is much more heart-centered and alive to the moment. Plus, his style of teaching is creative and fun!
This series (offered in-person and online) will consist of watching portions of the first video of Rosenberg’s workshop series “Making Life Wonderful”, paired with group discussion, reflection, and activities to deepen our learning and practice. Every other month, starting in July we will have Pam Winthrop-Lauer, our local NVC teacher, joining us (over zoom) at 8 pm for Q&A.
The dates Pam will join us are: July 17, September 18, November 20, & February 19
At 6 pm we plan to serve a meal, so come eat and socialize with us! The official event content will begin just after 6:30 pm.
This is a great chance to connect with the radical vision of the founder of Nonviolent Communication, Marshall Rosenberg. In these tumultuous times in our history, we need a focus on togetherness and liberation to support us in birthing the world we wish to see, instead of recreating systems that do not (and never have) served us.
