We have a very special Roots Music Jam planned for next Sunday September 7th. It will be held outdoors @pepesbistro from 2PM-5PM.The jam will be part of a benefit to help Pepe offset the costs of replacement refrigerators. We all know that operating a small business is costly. Although this is an event with short notice, please come out & show Pepe your support.
We will have the jam as an open stage like we normally would. A signup sheet will be provided for those wanting to share their talents. Roots will provide a drum set, piano, & bass amp. Guitarists should bring amps & guitars. Drummers bring your sticks.
We will also have items to be raffled off so please bring cash for those items. If you have an item that you would like to donate to be raffled, please contact Roots. We will have items displayed at RMS & raffle tickets can be purchased before the event. More items will be added throughout the week.
To the drummers out there, if we can get enough commitments, we will have a drum off from 5:00 to 5:30PM, at the end of the jam. Hand drummers are welcome to participate as well.
All proceeds will go to Pepe. Please help us spread the word!
The Roots Jam will be back at the Zoo Bar the first Sunday of October.
