To finish off our Tap Day celebrations next weekend, we will be presenting 'Roots & Wings: A Celebration of Tap Dance' on May 26th at 4PM. At the show we will be honouring the Crump Twins, presenting our scholarship winners, and there will be some phenomenal tap dance performances, from local professionals and local amateur groups, as well as a performance from Lisa LaTouche. As part of the show, we are honoured to be presenting the Vancouver premiere of 'Paying the Dues', a new work created by Jordyn Lemire. Performers include Lisa La Touche, Jim Hibbard, Peg Giesbrecht, Tosh Sutherland, Troy McLaughlin, Jordyn Lemire, Jeffrey Dawson, Natasha Dawson, and Shreyas Rai. Local studios that will have groups performing include Classic Steps, Harbour Dance Centre, The Richmond Academy of Dance, Studio 58 @ Langara College, Heart & Sole, Dance Co., The Rhythm Room and RNB Dance.
