Roots & Roofs: Backyard Gardening for Beginners
This is a new (FREE!) quarterly workshop we are partnering on! At Roots & Roofs, we’re all about making homes greener—inside and out! Our workshops are a fun, hands-on way to learn how to care for plants, create eco-friendly spaces, and connect with like-minded folks in the community. Whether you’re a total beginner or a plant pro, we’re here to help you grow (literally!). Let’s dig in, get our hands dirty, and make the world a little greener together!
This first workshop will focus on:
- basics of reading a seed packet
- plant care instructions for one herb, one flower, and one vegetable
- you will plant and take home one herb, one flower, and one vegetable
- how to safely transfer a seedling outdoors
