About Shasta Land Trust
Since 1998, the Shasta Land Trust has conserved over 59,000 acres of wildlife habitat, forest, open space, agricultural, and recreational land, and 151 miles of waterways protected from shoreline development. As an accredited land trust, SLT has worked with willing landowners, partners, local communities, and donors to achieve meaningful and lasting conservation of local lands.
Conserved land provides many benefits to our community. Clean drinking water, fresh air, strong local food networks, and abundant recreational opportunities are just a few of the benefits seen in our lifetime, with an immeasurable impact on future generations. These lands are necessary for our survival, from the water we drink, to the food we eat. By protecting our region rich with freshwater rivers, lakes, forests, and working ranches and farms, we can ensure a more resilient, healthy, and inhabitable future.

Thank you to our Sponsors!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors and volunteers who make the Wildways program possible. All proceeds from our Wildways Kickoff Jamboree benefit local land conservation.
