RHYTHM: In living this practice as artists we embody the rhythms through every breath we take, through every offering we make. Each gesture an extension of our body, heart, mind, soul & spirit.

RITUAL: As artists we manifest change offering ourselves and our stories from that Live Wire place inside our creative centre.

REAL: Evoking a creative way of seeing and experiencing life from the artistic nature of the body.

ROOTS: The electric landscape of unpredictable possibility that lives and breathes inside our bones.

A poetic landscape of offering. A free fall, a footfall, a live response to what is happening in us, around us and universally.

We as artists manifest change, offering ourselves and our stories from that deep live wire place inside each of us. A vulnerable electric landscape of unpredictable possibility that lives and breathes inside our bones helping others feel deeply, truthfully, with faith, humor, love and trust.

Location:

The beautiful Columbia River Gorge; a world treasure for natural beauty and gorgeous spaciousness nestled between two mountains on the border of Oregon and Washington within the valley through which the Columbia River runs. The area holds good food, plenty of places to stay, hot spring soaking, spa locations and all the nature you could desire.

We will dance in The Rooted Center Studio located within the magical shoppe MoonMountain Highway. This studio is owned by 5Rhythms Teacher Sara Mains and is the home of 5Rhythms in the Gorge commUNITY.

Refund Policy:

Cancellations are discouraged; however we understand changes are sometimes necessary. Cancellations 30 days before start date receive a full refund minus a $90 processing fee. Cancellations made 2 weeks before will receive a full refund minus a $150 processing fee. Cancellations made less than a week from start date are subject to a participant replacement. If a replacement is registered a refund minus a $150 processing fee will be granted. Thank you for understanding our need to cover all costs to provide these experiences.

Lorca is a certified 5Rhythms facilitator dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative. 

She was born and raised in Texas where she grew up in her father’s experimental theatre company Hip Pocket Theatre. As Producing Artistic Director she has been involved in the creation of original works for 50 years. A graduate of The University of North Carolina School of the Arts theatre conservatory. Educated in both experimental and traditional theatre. She has blazed through productions in New York City from Off Broadway to fringe, as well as television and film.

Lorca followed her instincts to the unique directing vibration known as Gabrielle Roth and a 19 year creative collaboration bloomed. She studied and trained with Gabrielle from the mid-90’s and was a co-founder and a co-director of 5RT, the experimental theatre wing of the 5Rhythms world, a place she stepped into with her expansive Texan feet, collaborating on numerous original productions, retreats and international workshops. In response to Gabrielle Roth’s investigation into what it means to be an authentic human being Lorca is the artistic director of Live Wire 5Rhythms Theatre which is dedicated to the creation of physical theatre that is both interactive and transformative. Live Wire labs: Breath in Motion, Roots, Electric Landscapes, Silhouette, Wing Span, Soul Threading, Gather, On The Verge and Soul Revival are rooted in a visionary and rigorous technique for people to become true “athletes of the heart" exploring and investigating the depths of the human spirit. 

​Lorca offers global 1:1 sessions in the zoom wing, as well as soulful Sunday pop-ups in collaboration with international artists and dancing communities around the world. 

She is committed to scattering the seeds of this transformative process.

A certified 5Rhythms Teacher on the Dancing path for over a decade.

Wyld began her journey many moons ago as a humble door tender; greeting dancers, sweeping floors and absorbing every bit of wisdom she could behind the scenes.

Then onward to making Altars for workshops and learning how to anchor energy through art and movement while also leading crews around the world.

Graduating as a 5Rhythms Spaceholder in 2018, she began holding dance floors through her work with 5Rhythms in the Gorge alongside mentor Sara Mains.

She has produced multiple Teachers and workshops over the years, drawing in the experiences her commUNITY could most benefit from.

This year, she is more than delighted to be supporting Lorca in this deep dive transformational work... Live Wire landed marrow deep in her bones and has had a profund impact on her own healing journey.

All this adventure is adjacent to her own work in Wyld Fempyre - a space for women to unravel their domestication, embrace perimenopause and step into personal liberation through a wide array of experiences from private coaching and group programs alongside HERbal products and her recently released book The Tranformation Map .
