Rooted in Play: Kid's Nature Hour with Taiylor Kriss [Ages 2-5]

Let your little ones explore the wonders of nature through play, activities, and learning.

This immersive experience offers children the opportunity to connect with nature, unleash their imaginations, and take the lead in their own learning adventure. Children will engage with the natural world through guided activities that promote holistic development, foster a sense of wonder, and encourage meaningful interactions with their surroundings.

Suited for ages 2-5.

Parents are welcome to actively participate in all activities

*Kids should bring their own water bottles, snacks, and outdoor gear depending on weather.

Meet Taiylor, a dedicated educator blending Waldorf and Reggio Emilia approaches. With a background as a kids’ yoga, gymnastics, and fitness instructor, certified nature guide, pre-K lead, and early childhood educator, Taiylor is committed to nurturing holistic growth. She believes in ‘un’schooling and healing nature deficit disorder in children, infusing creativity, movement, and the outdoors into every experience. Through her diverse expertise, Taiylor empowers children to explore, learn, and thrive while fostering a deep connection to the natural world.

July 19th

“Building with Nature”

9:00 am - 9:15 am: Morning Song Circle

9:15 am - 10:00 am: Nature Building - Constructing simple structures with twigs, leaves, and more

10:15 am - 10:45 am: Rough Play - Safe and supervised outdoor games

“Creatures of the Wild”
