This year on Aug 28, 2021, Howie Acres Community will be celebrating 75 years that the community was established in 1946. With the city changing at such a rapid pace, older communities are vanishing. We have a small but diverse neighborhood filled with a beautiful tree canopy, homes that date back to the 1940’s, and several churches. One church, Zion Primitive Baptist is 157 years old, and the grave dates back to the 1800’s. We would love ❤️ for you to come help us celebrate this memorable occasion. There will be something for everyone. Food Trucks, games, music, and art.
