Our relationship with money is deeply rooted in the Root Chakra. Long before we ever earned a dollar, our nervous system was already learning what money meant through our environment, family dynamics, culture, and moments of instability or security.
For many, money becomes linked to survival, safety, worthiness, and belonging — creating unconscious patterns that quietly shape how we earn, spend, save, receive, or avoid money in adulthood.
In this class, we will explore how money wounds form and how past experiences such as financial stress in childhood, inconsistency, loss, power dynamics, or scarcity conditioning can become embedded in the body.
These imprints often show up as fear around money, chronic overworking, under-earning, difficulty receiving, guilt when resting, or a constant sense that “it’s never enough,” even when resources are present. Rather than viewing these patterns as failures, we will approach them as survival responses that once served a purpose.
We will look at how the Root Chakra governs our sense of material safety and how unresolved money wounds keep us operating from survival rather than stability. This includes examining inherited and ancestral beliefs around money, work, and struggle, as well as societal narratives that reinforce fear, comparison, and scarcity. By bringing awareness to these patterns, we begin to loosen their grip and create space for new, more supportive relationships with money.
This class invites you to reconnect with money from a grounded, embodied place rather than fear or urgency. Through discussion, reflection, and somatic awareness, you will learn how to recognize when your system is reacting from old conditioning and how to gently reorient toward safety, trust, and sufficiency.
We will close with a guided Root Chakra activation focused specifically on releasing money-based fear and anchoring a sense of stability, support, and safety within the body. This activation is designed to help retrain the nervous system, allowing new beliefs and experiences around money to root more deeply and sustainably into your lived reality.
