Join us for the Northeast Florida Health Start Coalition (NEFHSC) 2nd Biennial Root Causes of Infant Moartality Summit. This year's theme, “Innovative Practices to Address Maternal & Child Health: Celebrating More First Birthdays,” will bring together changemakers, healthcare providers, elected officials and community stakeholders from across Florida to examine and elevate strategies that address the root causes of infant mortality.
NEFHSC is honored to welcome Dr. Meredith C. Smith, executive director of Cradle Cincinnati, as the 2025 keynote speaker. Nationally recognized for her leadership in reducing infant mortality through data-driven, community-based interventions, Dr. Smith will share Cradle Cincinnati’s successful approach to improving birth outcomes and engaging families in long-term solutions.

Describe successful approaches to improving maternal and child health outcomes, prioritizing practices which have proven to be innovative in diverse settings.
Investigate how local resources can be leveraged to identify and apply innovative practices across Northeast Florida.
