Rooftop Pickleball!

Take the guessing out of going out with the Shaka Club. Every week, we host an array of events for NYC’s 20- and 30-somethings. From 100+ person parties to intimate happy hours, our events are your go-to place to meet like-minded people in your age range and have a great time while doing it. Whether you're new to the city or simply seeking fresh connections, come hang out!

Tickets to all Shaka Club events include our trademark event curation, curated guest list of people your age, on-site Shaka staff, private or semi-private venue access, event photography, party favors, and more! You’ll always be able to order whatever food and drinks you’d like from the venue’s offerings on your own tab directly through the venue.

The Shaka Club is partnering with Tennis Innovators to bring you a fun outdoor pickleball experience in the heart of NYC! Join us at our privately booked outdoor rooftop pickleball courts, located conveniently on the Upper West Side - just a few blocks from Columbus Circle! There will be three private courts. We are capping the capacity so that everyone will get a full hour of play!

What to Expect

• All equipment (nets, paddles, balls, etc.) will be included.
• There will be a Tennis Innovators pickleball coach on site to run the experience, help everyone out, and provide instruction if needed!
• Please bring your own water. No beverages or food will be provided.
• You'll be paired with another Shaka member to play a full hour of pickleball matches. Breaks will be taken to rehydrate, socialize, and enjoy the beautiful views that the unique rooftop pickleball court offers!

Ticket Policies

• As always, the Shaka Club's refund and cancelation policy applies. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please reach out to us at [email protected].
• Given we will be playing outdoors, if it rains to the point where it's unsafe to play, the session would be canceled and rescheduled to a future date. We will give you as much advance notice on this as possible.

How to Find Us

• Security will ask for a photo I.D. so please make sure you bring your license or some equivalent form of I.D.
• When you arrive at John Jay College, enter on 10th Ave. through the main entrance. Check in with security and go down the escalators. Go to the first bay of elevators and take any of the elevators up to the 6th Floor. The court will be outside! You'll need to go through a hallway on the left so go around and follow the signs).
• Once you are outside on the terrace, go up the flight of stairs you see outside there. Our courts will be located above the tennis court, on the roof. (If you joined us last year for this experience, it's the same location - just one level up on the actual rooftop!)
