Ronnie Rice: It’s not a concert, it’s a party
Ronnie Rice, the original lead singer and co-writer for the New Colony Six. Ronnie consistently sells out wherever he plays, including twice at the Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights.
Ronnie co-wrote the Colony's hits "Things I'd Like to Say" (1968) and "I Will Always Think About You" (1968). Additionally, he was the lead vocalist for the Colony's hits: "I'm Just Waitin'" (1967), I Could Never Lie to Lie" (1969), "I Want to Know (1969) and "Long Time to Be Alone" (1971).
He performs regularly with Cornerstones of Rock concert series along with Chicago-based 60s groups, The Ides of March, The Buckinghams, Cryan Shames and The Shadows of Knight.
