•PLEASE READ...You must FIRST pay for the field trip and be signed off by an EiE representative, in order to be put on the roster. (RSVPing, via Facebook, to this event will NOT put you on the roster).
IF YOU ARE NOT ON THE ROSTER, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND THIS EVENT.

•"NO-SHOWS: If you make a reservation and then do not attend a field trip, it means that we still had to pay for your spot, another family who wanted to come was denied the opportunity to attend and WE may be “banned” from future attendance by the provider. A “habitual field trip truant” MAY LOSE FIELD TRIP PRIVILEGES for their family."
•IMPORTANT: If you sign-up for this event and are unable to attend, you MUST contact us before the event and let us know you cannot make it. (Events are NON-Refundable, unless specifically noted). If bringing lunch, please keep it in your car and eat at picnic tables out front. the parking sticker will allow access to leave and come back for lunch. No outdoor food allowed inside. If buying lunch, tables are by café inside.
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
In 1947 a Bedouin shepherd tossing rocks into a cave accidentally discovered the first of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Over the next few years, thousands of manuscript fragments, dating back up to 2000 years, were found in 11 caves near the site of the ancient city of Qumran. These scrolls include the oldest known copies of the Hebrew Bible. They give us amazing spiritual and cultural insights into the Second Temple period (516 B.C. - 70 A.D.).
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library presents this world-class exhibition, featuring 8 authentic Dead Sea Scrolls and over 200 artifacts from the Second Temple period.

The Event Listing may be "publicly" viewable; HOWEVER, the event is only for HOMESCHOOL students in the 12th grade and below. Parents/guardians must accompany all minors. Our events are NOT "Drop-off" events. Adults must sign-up with a student. We do not offer an "Adult Only" option for our Events.

Adults must supervise their own children.
Please do NOT bring alcohol to any EiE event.
