Beloved Canadian singer-songwriter Ron Sexsmith brings his unmistakable voice and deeply personal songs to Caffè Lena for an intimate evening of music. With a career spanning nearly three decades and eighteen studio albums—including a new release coming in 2025—Sexsmith has earned a devoted following for his heartfelt, literate songwriting and melodies that stay with you long after the final note.

A three-time Juno Award winner, Ron has graced some of the world’s most iconic venues, from Massey Hall and Carnegie Hall to London’s Royal Albert Hall and The Palladium. His music, often described as a blend of Gordon Lightfoot and Leonard Cohen meets The Kinks and The Beatles, pays tribute to his Canadian roots and the British invasion sounds that shaped his youth.

Ron’s songs have been covered by an extraordinary roster of artists, including Elvis Costello, Emmylou Harris, kd lang, Feist, Rod Stewart, Michael Bublé, and Stevie Nicks—a testament to the universal resonance of his craft.

Beyond songwriting, Ron is also an author and theatrical composer. His 2017 debut novel, Deer Life: A Fairy Tale, will soon be accompanied by an original musical score. In 2025, he’ll make his debut as a composer for the stage with a new adaptation of As You Like It for Canada’s famed Stratford Festival.
