Performing with Romesh is viral comedy star Jack Skipper ! Jack Skipper, hailing from South London, has recently gone from a carpet fitter with no qualifications to blowing up, becoming an internet sensation and full-time comedian.
Whether telling stories of life as a family man or observations on working-class life, his everyday guy persona has gained an impressive following on social media, with over 16 million likes on TikTok alone and 360k followers on Instagram.
Jack was a runner up in the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? New Comedian of the Year competition in 2022, and reached the final of the Komedia New Act comedian in 2023. He recently starred in the Stand Up Sketch Show on ITV2.
Plus the brilliant Chantel Nash ! Chantel Nash started performing stand-up comedy half way through 2022 and made her way onto the open mic and black comedy circuits. Having already shared the stage with some of her comedy heroes including Kerry Godliman, Slim, Laura Smyth and Kane Brown. Her effortless charm is winning over audiences one postcode at a time; she has won regional heats and reached the finals of both the So You Think You’re Funny and BBC New Act competition in 2023.
Chantel made her first audio debut on Mo Gilligan’s Spotlight on Audible, and went on to join the Mo Gilligan and Friends – the Black British Takeover at the Eventim Apollo in London. This fast rising future star of comedy is one you will certainly want to see.
And Dane Buckley ! Dane is the world’s only Irish, Indian, gay comedian… probably. An award-winning comedian and writer, he delivers his comedy effortlessly with cheeky charm and camp mischief.
Dane burst onto the comedy circuit in 2022, making a name for himself by winning Gong Shows (Beat the Frog World Series, The Comedy Store’s King Gong, Top Secret’s Gong, to name a few) and has been a finalist in LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year (2022) and 2Northdown’s New Act competition (2022).
Whether it’s stories of his early years – Irish mammies, Indian grannies, and rebel priests – or his career in social care – chasing pensioners through Paris or delivering a baby impromptu – audiences across the UK are enjoying Dane’s hilarious and heart-warming tales.
Dane has supported Rosie Jones, Tom Allen and My Therapist Ghosted Me on tour. He recently filmed for Comedy Central Live, and is a regular on the club and festival circuit.
