ROME AS YOU ARE

MAD DOGS
is a four-piece band devoted to Rock 'n' Roll. After navigating several lineup changes, they found stability and honed their artistic vision towards Garage Rock and High Energy Rock 'n' Roll in 2016. That fall, they recorded the album Ass Shakin' Dirty Rollers at Go Down Studio in Cesena, Italy. Mixed and mastered by Alfredo Epi Gentili, it was released in April 2017, featuring hard-hitting tracks crafted and recorded very quickly to capture the band’s raw energy and essence.
In June 2019, the now more mature and aware quartet recorded the sophomore album, We Are Ready To Testify, at Teatro Delle Voci Studios, Treviso. Mixed and mastered by Daniel Grego, it was released by Go Down Records in October 2020. The sound is powerful, emphasizing Mad Dogs' r'n'r attitude while incorporating refined elements that echo back to the 60s and 70s. The record received positive reviews from critics, and the band embarked on a tour, overcoming challenges posed by the pandemic.
In 2022, the band contributed to the compilation album “Rollin' with the Best,” celebrating the British group New Generation Superstar's two-decade career, with their cover of “Out of My Head.” In spring 2023, Mad Dogs dropped their first 45, Solitary Walker's Blues/A New Dawn, via Go Down Records. This single features two new tracks filled with groove and catchy melodies.
September 2025 marks the release of their third studio album, The Future Is Now, still on Go Down Records. It acts as a rock'n'roll manifesto, brimming with the band's passion and energy, and is rooted in the distinctive sound that stretches from Detroit to Sweden and Australia.
Over the years, Mad Dogs has shared the stage with the likes of Jim Jones All Stars, The Morlocks, The Stems, Lords of Altamont, Deniz Tek (Radio Birdman), Keith Streng (Fleshtones), The Gories, Yawing Man, Sick Rose, Not Moving, and many others.
