Pope Francis has invited young people from across the world to join him in Rome next summer for the Jubilee of the Youth, July 28 - August 3, 2025. The organisers of the Jubilee for Youth have released some details:
It is for 18 to 30 year olds
The programme will include a Welcome Mass, various spiritual, cultural and artistic activities, a Penitential Day and a Vigil with Pope Francis concluding with Holy Mass
There will be ‘pilgrim packs’ similar to WYD including food vouchers and accommodation
RCAG Youth are planning to take a group of 18 to 30 year olds on this pilgrimage. In previous years, for WYD, we have booked our own accommodation instead of using the one offered. As this pilgrimage is for over 18s, we are going with the simple option that the organisers are offering (this is likely to be gym halls with sleeping bags).
As a pilgrim with us, you will register and pay the cost of the pilgrim pack (around £250) and your travel (anticipated around £550). If you would like to arrange your own travel and meet us there, you're welcome to! If you want to join the group but fancy booking yourself an AirBnB, you're welcome to! If you want to do the full RCAG Youth Pilgrimage, travelling and staying with us, you're welcome to!
