Join Chef Katie Parla, celebrated author and expert on Roman cuisine, for an evening of cooking, tasting, and connection inspired by the Lazio region of Italy.
This interactive culinary event invites guests to roll up their sleeves and cook side-by-side with Katie across five hands-on stations, from fresh pasta to classic Roman dishes—followed by a communal meal featuring your creations and regional wines.
What to Expect:

• Five chef-led stations:
– Fresh Fettuccine & Romanesco Pasta Sauce
– Rustic Pizzette & Seasonal Vegetables
– Tangy Chicken Cacciatora & Chicory with Lemon
– Rice-Stuffed Tomatoes & Puntarelle alla Romana
– Pizza Ebraica, Rome’s signature sweet treat
• A dedicated Wine Station featuring Lazio wines and tasting notes curated by Chef Katie
• A family-style dinner to enjoy together

Katie Parla is an award-winning food and beverage writer, cookbook author, and culinary guide based in Rome. With a master’s degree in Italian Gastronomic Culture, she has spent over two decades exploring and documenting the food traditions of Italy.
Katie is the author of several acclaimed cookbooks—including Food of the Italian Islands, Tasting Rome, Food of the Eternal City, and her newest release, Rome—a celebration of the city’s contemporary and traditional cuisine.
Through her writing, teaching, and culinary tours, Katie brings the authentic spirit of Rome’s kitchens to audiences around the world—celebrating seasonality, community, and the joy of cooking together.
