About this Event
The Trussell Trust Rolling Roadshows event in Bristol provides the valuable opportunity to connect, feel inspired and be better equipped to end the need for emergency food in your community.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to the event where we will join together in a collaborative, informative and inspiring environment to reflect, explore, and focus on how we will work together to end the need for emergency food across the regions and nations of the UK.
During the day, there will be valuable opportunities to meet and hear from fellow food bank leaders and the Trussell Trust team, listen to an inspiring keynote speaker and take part in practical workshops, as well as ample opportunity to catch up with one another and reflect on the last year.
The day will equip you with new and practical ways to plan for and deliver change in your local communities whilst encouraging and thanking you for the difference you are already making.
Spaces are limited so please do sign up as soon as possible. We are strongly encouraging food bank Project Managers, Trustees and strategic leaders/volunteers to attend. We want to ensure every food bank has the opportunity to attend a roadshow and where capacity allows, we may open up the events to further volunteers. Please look out for more information on this.
As this is the first time we will be getting together in person since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, we wanted to reassure you that your wellbeing remains our top priority. We will be working within the relevant government Covid-19 guidelines at each roadshow, where relevant. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please email [email protected] or speak to your Area Manager.
We are looking forward to sharing more information about the Rolling Roadshows with you over the coming weeks, including speakers and workshops that you can book.
We can’t wait to see you and have some quality face-to-face time together as we strive towards our vision for a UK where no one needs emergency food to get by.
