The Chattahoochee River is a powerful, beautiful and important part of Georgia's ecology. This river has gone from being one of the most polluted rivers in the country in the 1990s to a revitalized waterway bursting with recreational opportunities. Alan Toney, master naturalist and active Riverkeeper volunteer will explore the health of the Chattahoochee with an emphasis on major tributaries such as Big Creek, Powers Branch, Marsh Creek, Peachtree Creek and on special little tributary, Falling Branches Creek right here at Lost Corner Preserve! Please register at the ticket link for this FREE event so we know how many to expect. Consider carpooling if you invite a guest to ensure adequate for all.
