About this Event
Come support your local Vancouver team, as they smash into other humans on roller skates! Doors open at1:00pm, with the first whistle at1:30pm for the game against South Sound. First whistle against GVRDA is at 3:45pm. Snacks, drinks, and merch are available to purchase.
Entry is by donation, which is always optional - and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Our league is entirely volunteer run, so any proceeds help us continue to play, train, and host games!
If you don't know what roller derby is or would like a rundown of the rules, check out
for a quick (1 minute) explanation. Please dress warmly if the weather is cold – as our venue is the same temperature as the outdoors! There are two small bleachers in the venue, but we highly recommend bringing camping chairs – so you can sit track-side for the best view of the action (and sometimes the bleachers get full too!).
Terminal City Roller Derby works hard to make sure all of our events are safe, fun, inclusive and family friendly. We love having families attend our events, and we do have measures in place to ensure safety; including specific viewing distances for those under 18.
You can expect an event full of hard hits and bold athleticism, with a good dose of laughter and entertainment. The game will last for about 90 minutes including halftime and timeouts.
As a volunteer organization, we are always looking for folks to play, officiate, or otherwise help out. We also love to partner with community organizations for door prizes, or for any other reason. Please contact us if you’re interested in volunteering, partnering with us, or sponsoring our team!
This event is supported by the Spirit of Coquitlam Grant.
