Margit is excited to return to the studio for this special workshop - welcoming both racquet sport athletes and non-players alike. Get ready to roll, release and restore as you discover how the simple use of a tennis ball can transform your tennis game or yoga practice! In this playful and accessible workshop, we'll blend mindful movement with myofascial release techniques to ease tension, improve mobility and infuse your yoga (and tennis!) practice with joy. Using the tennis ball as a prop, you will roll your way to a relaxed and rested body!
No tennis experience is required - just an openness to explore and have fun. Each participant will leave with their own set of tennis balls to continue the benefits at home. Open to all, no yoga or tennis experience necessary.
About Margit Bannon:
Margit Bannon is a RSPA Elite Tennis Professional and a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance with over 25 years of coaching and teaching experience. Margit offers specialty classes combining tennis with yoga, helping tennis players with injury prevention, recovery and their mental game. When teaching yoga, Margit enjoys sharing a gentle, alignment-based approach that is accessible to all. A firm believer in the value of props, she incorporates them to bring comfort, encourages playful exploration, and inspire mindfulness by offering fresh perspectives on familiar postures. Margit is a former TYS teacher, having spent many years as a valued staff member of The Yoga Sanctuary and is the owner of Play Tennis. Practice Yoga.®.
