What does a resilient, thriving food system look like for the Rogue Valley—and how do we get there? The Rogue Valley Food System Network (RVFSN) recently wrapped a three-year Community Food Assessment (CFA) covering Jackson and Josephine Counties. Building on those findings, 20+ organizations collaborated on a five-year Action Plan with 4 goals and 100+ actions to strengthen our regional food system for all.
On Thursday, September 11, Alison Sexauer, Executive Director of RVFSN, will share key CFA insights and how four working groups are supporting organizations and businesses to implement the plan. Come learn what’s working, what needs attention, and where our community is heading next.
Who should attend: Rotarians, local producers, food businesses, nonprofits, policymakers, and anyone who cares about access to healthy, local food.
Logistics: 12:00–1:15 p.m. Guests welcome. Lunch available on site, optional ($20).
