Your chance to meet one of tennis's most colourful characters on the tennis circuit in the 1970s.Vilified by some and respected by many more, Roger Taylor was one of the 'Handsome Eight', and has many stories to tell during his time as a top British tennis player, reaching 3 Wimbledon semi-finals and winning the US Open Doubles, twice.
Roger has written a book: 'The Man Who saved Wimbledon', with TV sports presenter, Marcus Buckland and will be sharing his stories at Wilton Tennis Club, 28 Wilton Grove, Wimbledon SW19 3QX on Tuesday 9th September @7.30pm.
The bar will be open with a donation going to Sport in Mind: the club's chosen charity.
