About this Event
Norwich Branch of Palestine Solidarity Campaign welcomes Roger McKenzie to speak at our annual meeting. Roger is the general secretary of Liberation (formerly known as the Movement for Colonial Freedom which was set up in 1954 by Harold Wilson, Barbara Castle and Tony Benn).
With special reference to Palestine, Roger will focus on how oppressed peoples across the globe can build and sustain mass resistance.
Friends' Meeting House
(Upper Goat Lane, Norwich)
Saturday, 9 April (1:00 pm)
The war in Ukraine has generated huge public support for boycotts, divestment and sanctions of Russian goods and companies. By the same token, we are calling for Israel to be subject to the same boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS)
As this will be our AGM, we will be reporting on our work over the last year and electing a new committee. This is a public meeting, and all are welcome. Please think about how you can support our efforts to bring peace and justice to the people of Palestine. We will be electing branch officers and a new committee. If you would like to help our work, please consider standing for the committee.
