Rodrigo da Costa Matos is one of the world's most sought-after classical dressage trainers. For 19 years Rodrigo Matos was a principal rider at the Portuguese School of Art. He has decades of experience coaching and teaching all across the globe, including being the senior instructor at Morgado Lusitano in Portugal
Rodrigo now spends his time travelling the globe following his passion, coaching horses and riders on how to better work together in classical harmony
🐴 Individual 1:1 Lessons
🎤 Microphone set up & speakers to listen to other lessons
🍽️ Fully catered (morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea + unlimited tea/coffee)
🐎 Open to all levels
Lesson Participants
- 1 x 50 minute private lesson with Rodrigo Matos
- Use of CEE coach (please bring own set of earphones with earphone jack)
- Fully catered morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea
- Ability to watch and listen to 8 lessons across the day
- Use of tie ups and wash bay
- Individual paddocks are available at a day rate of $50

In the case of bad weather, we will have an indoor arena organised for the event
Cancellation Policy
We do not offer refunds on international clinicians, due to the cost of bringing them out and accommodating them. In the case of a horse injury, a vet report will be required as well as 48 hours minimum notice for credit from Heartland Horse Farm to be issued to the value of your lesson cost.
