So happy to finally post this line-up with this bunch of legends šFor those who know their dance music history know the craic, but for those interested in a bit of DJ history Iād like to introduce DJ and Producer Mr āNoel Watsonā. Noel moved to London with his brother in 1979 to escape the violence on Belfastās streets. Few others did more to change the shape of London club culture through the 80s and 90s. In the early days, they championed hip-hop and electro before launching Delirium at the Astoria in 1985. Regular visitors included the liked of Andrew Weatherall, Terry Farley and Danny Rampling + Carl Cox even cited Noel as one of his inspirations. In the late 1980s, Noel became a regular behind the decks at key London clubs and illegal warehouse parties as the acid house scene exploded across the UK. These days you will find Noel still playing gigs in London with crews such as āFaithā as well as regularly DJing in Belfast with people like David Holmes, you can read more here:-

Another legend Iād like to introduce is āBrother Markā aka Mark Broadbent who has been involved with so much of the electronic music scene over the years through his work in Ibiza with the likes of Cream, We Love @ Space, Pikes, to his work with the Garden Festival/Barbarella's Croatia + a whole lot more , in fact in 2013 he was even awarded theā Outstanding Contributionā DJ Mag award. Mark originally from Yorkshire has been been living permanently in Ibiza for almost 30 years with his wife Sarah (another legend of the scene) but these days Mark has retired from the super-club world and now concentrates on the more chilled relaxed, Balearic DJ world of Ibiza where he currently holds a residency @ The Standard as well as playing other beautiful venues across the Island (this will be Markās first time ever in Ireland). A forward thinker, a mover of the times and an all-round down to earth nice guy be sure to check him out whilst heās over (you can also catch him @ Muriel's, Belfast on Friday 2nd May alongside Simon Sheldon & myself from 6pm), more info here:-

Simon Sheldon has played Roddenās before, his bio is lengthy, so Iāll keep it short, Simon has been writing, producing, releasing, and performing under many pseudonyms for 30 years plus releasing records in various ensembles and as a solo artist, he has played live in the US, throughout Europe and Asia and more recently Ibiza. Now with his label The Freebooter Lounge, he has guested on CafĆ© Mambo radio and with a release on the stella Get Physical Records had the 8th top selling Electronica track at Beatport for 2022 for his collaboration with fellow freebooter LOEW and DJ T which got to number 1 @ Beatport, even music royalty Sasha put āBlazeā on his hugely respected āLUZoSCURAā collection. In 2025 Simon is as busy as ever with gigs and running his Freebooter Lounge record label, having put out almost 80 releases from himself and various other artists. Muzka is a DJ and Producer from Belfast, Northern Ireland, spinning music for nearly three decades. He developed a passion for music as a child, experimenting with mix tapes and scratching on his mom's hi-fi. Influenced by hip hop acts like Public Enemy and De La Soul, he gravitated towards DJing and was inspired by Grandmaster Flash, DJ Premier, and DJ Cash Money. At 15, he acquired his first set of turntables and became an avid record digger. While initially mixing various genres like electro, funk, hip hop, disco, soul, and dub, Muzka's musical focus shifted after attending a Sabres Of Paradise show in Belfast at David Holmes and Iain McCready's āSugar Sweetā night. This experience introduced him to the world of house and techno music adding to his existing list of genres and prompting him to start his own Friday night event called 'Runaway' featuring a mix of DJs with diverse vinyl collections. Muzka went on to secure residencies, guest slots, and radio appearances, consistently embracing a wide range of genres and emphasizing that good music knows no boundaries. Muzka has supported and performed alongside notable artists such as Mr Scruff, Scratch Perverts, DJ Shadow and Goldie among others and his productions blend sampling, hardware synths, and drum machines, showcasing his unique sound.
Dan Dub Lounge has always being surrounded by dance music, live music and reggae amongst everything else from youth and with over 18 years involved in music performing in various bands as a bassist and guitarist, Dan Dub Lounge has been developed as the next alias for Daniel Saunders. Having a keen interest in the bass guitar and playing other instruments, predominately in various bands and performing live in bands from his earlier years, he has taken a deeper dive into his own self-taught bespoke original productions. Whilst never pursuing music as a full-time profession he has maintained an interest in electronic music production mixed with live recordings broadening his scope of musical adventures and styles ranging from drum and bass, jungle, lounge, chillout, ambient and experimental electronic music.
The rest of the line-up is made up of Roddenās all-dayer regulars who donāt need an introduction, the fact they keep getting asked to play and the fact they want to play is testament to how good these parties are + this time we will be introducing music into the bar with Homespun Sound System DJs, Hago & guests :-)
As ever, this event is FREE entry, all you need to bring is happiness, no attitudes please, thank-you :-)
