*Kettlebell Update* Kettlebell will now be held on alternating months alongside Boxing on Wednesday evenings.
For the most part kettlebells are mainstream fitness equipment now. Most people have heard of them or used them, but many are still unfamiliar with Kettlebell Sport (also known as Girevoy Sport) and the difference between GS and "hard style". Jon will give you an overview on some of the fundamentals along with some tips, training techniques and lots of practice drills along the way. He holds training certifications from both the IKFF (CKT Level 1) and AFSA and has been training with and competing in kettlebell sport for more than 12 years.
*Please note that we are asking everyone to be on time and ready to participate at the time classes are scheduled to begin. There may be important safety instructions given at the beginning of some classes that will be integral not only to your personal safety, but that of other participants and the instructor as well. There is also some significant importance to warm-up and mobility phases of practice that can't be skipped. If you are 5-10 minutes late, please check with instructor first before joining the class. Anything after that we ask that you come back for the next scheduled class. Thank you!
