Join us on the 14th of December 2024 for the inaugural Rockys Backyard Ultra at McLaren Falls Park!The course takes participants through beautiful trails alongside Lake McLaren, passing waterfalls, native bush, and even glowworms if you’re running into the night. With an elevation gain of under 100m, this event offers both a physical and mental challenge in a breathtaking natural setting.
This unique ultramarathon challenges participants to complete a 6.7km loop every hour, on the hour, until only one runner remains. The catch? You must finish each loop in under an hour to keep going. Whether you’re a seasoned ultra-runner or just looking to complete a few loops, this event is for you!
This is a self-supported event, so make sure to bring your own food, hydration, chair, and any other gear you need to keep going.
