Get Ready for the La Larr Ba Gauwa Family Camp Out!Join the Castlemaine Rocky Riders for a family camp out at La Larr Ba Gauwa, on Dja Dja Wurrung country.
Camp in the Oak Forrest campground - Picnic Gully Road Harcourt. Leisurely green trail family rides, to technically challenging blue trail rides. If mountain biking isn’t your thing, join our guided bushwalks.
If you’re not up for camping, no problem; just come along for the activities.
A Rocky Riders (or other AusCycling/ Bicycle Network) membership is required so you are covered by insurance while riding.
Saturday 5th April
2pm - Camp set up
Bring a tent, or roll a swag out under the stars
3pm - 5pm - Choose the ride and activity that suits your style Green trails, family ride + obstacle course.
Blue trails, intermediate ride
Bushwalk to Mount Alexander
5:30pm - BBQ Dinner and Campfire
BYO dinner or something to BBQ, crockery & cutlery. Castlemaine Rocky Riders will provide the BBQ, tables, cooking utensils, campfire and marshmallows
7:30pm - Night walk
Your torch will be handy for this activity!
Sunday 6th April
7:30am - Body Balance (Tai Chi, Yoga and Pilates)
Bring your yoga mat (30mins)
8-9:30am - Breakfast
Bring your own favourite breakfast.
Tea and Coffee provided.
9:30- 11:30am - Choose the ride and activity that suits your style
Green trails, family ride + obstacle course
Blue trails, intermediate ride
Blue trails, intermediate Women’s ride
Bushwalk to Wabbit Wocks
11:30am - Morning Tea & Oak Forrest Easter Egg

Entry to the Family Camp Out event is by way of a donation on the day. All funds raised will go to supporting the Harcourt Mountain Bike Park committee, maintain the bike trails.
Please consider contributing, any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated. (suggested donation $5 each or $20 per family)
