The RMMR is a Mustang car show that is always Father's Day Weekend (June) in Colorado. There are usually 400+ Mustangs from 17+ states. We do also have ONE car show class for other Special Interest FORDS.

Event Schedule
Scenic Mountain Tour / Open Track Tech & Orientation - Wednesday, June 16th
This event is an awesome driving tour of the beautiful countryside to Cripple Creek. This will not be a speed event. This
event is open and free to all registered participants. However, sign up is necessary on the registration form. Prizes will be awarded at stops along the tour to registered participants. We will be handing out discount coupons for lunch at the Cripple Creek Casinos.
An Open Track orientation meeting will take place at the Hotel Elegante from 7 pm – 8 pm.
PPIR Open Track / Autocross Tech & Orientation - Thursday, June 17th
All that have registered for an Open Track session at PPIR will get to drive the ROVAL. There will be two sessions of the
Open Track (morning and afternoon). The limit is 120 drivers (SOLD OUT). FREE parade laps will be available to RMMR participants during the lunch break from noon – 1 pm at PPIR. Helmets will be required on the track for every driver and passenger (Snell 2000 or newer). Autocross / Open Track participants must bring AX / OT Confirmations (to be mailed May 2021) and pass technical inspection before participating in the AX or OT. Autocross Early Tech Session is strongly encouraged and will occur during the afternoon Open Track sessions from 1pm– 3pm at the PPIR infield parking lot. An autocross orientation meeting will take place at the Hotel Elegante 7 pm – 8 pm.
Autocross / Friday Night Social - Friday, June 18th
The autocross will be held at the “outside west parking lot” at PPIR. There will be two sessions of the autocross
(morning and afternoon). The limit is 200 drivers (SOLD OUT). Each driver will
complete a maximum of four (4) timed runs. Autocross trophies will be awarded Saturday at noon during the Show n'
Shine at Memorial Park. SCCA safety regulations will be enforced. Helmets will be required on the track for every
driver and passenger (Snell 2000 or newer). Only two drivers are allowed per car. No driver may drive more than one car during the event. Autocross / Open Track participants must bring AX / OT Confirmations (to be mailed May 2021) and pass technical inspection before participating in the AX or OT. Early Tech is strongly recommended due to limited
staging space for 2021 Autocross.
The Friday Night social will include a light meal with beer, wine, dessert and beverages at 6 pm – 8:30 pm at the
host hotel. Everyone must have a ticket to participate. Your tickets will be in your registration packet.
Show n’ Shine Car Show - Saturday, June 19th
The car show will take place on the grass at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs. The Show n’ Shine is NOT a concours
judged competition. Staging will begin at 7:00 am. The car show will start at 10:00 am and will end promptly at 3:00
pm. Winners in each of the Show n’ Shine classes will be selected by Judging Teams (residents of the Colorado Springs
community) using the following non-concours criteria: Cleanliness, Craftsmanship and Quality. The Judging Teams will rate each car’s engine, Interior, Exterior, Wheels / Tires, and Overall Appearance. Each category is worth 5 points for a maximum of 25 points. If there are significant changes from stock in any of the above categories, please register in the appropriate modified class. Current model year cars (2021) will only be judged via Popular Vote and Specialty Awards. All Up and Coming entries will be subject to reclassification per Judging Chair discretion. Additional trophies will be awarded, which include Vanity Plate, Hard Luck, Young Owner, Long Distance (individual) and Long Distance (club).
To be eligible for either of the Long Distance awards, vehicle(s) must be driven the distance to and from the show
(trailered vehicles ineligible). The appropriate form located in the registration room must be completed.
Breakfast / Show n’ Shine Awards - Sunday, June 20th
Show n’ Shine Awards and Show pictures for purchase will be available starting at 8:00 am outside the Hotel Elegante
Ball Room. The Awards Breakfast will be held at the Hotel Elegante from 8:00 am - 9:30 am. Specialty Awards presentation will begin promptly at 9:30 am and is FREE and OPEN to all participants. All participating clubs are encouraged to bring their club banners (drop off in the Registration Room) as they will be displayed at this time.
